GPV and sustainable development

The concept of sustainable development calls for a change in behaviour of each and every one of us confronted as we are with threats to humankind and our planet.

Far more than just an approach, at GPV sustainable development is a genuine policy pursued by the group, positioning it as a committed player highly aware of the environmental, social and economic impacts of its activity.

As European leader in the manufacture of correspondence pockets and envelopes, GPV produces a product that is as perfect as possible…. even though it will be thrown away by the recipient of the letter it contains! And yet envelopes are vital: 22 billion envelopes are used every year in France.

With this in mind, GPV has set up an eco-design strategy: the use of recycled raw materials and/or recyclability of the envelope are now part of our specification sheet.
